Joe Robertson, who has built more than 50 bars in Newcastle, Leeds, Cardiff and London, also conceived a number of exceptional concepts during the 80′s and 90′s. Each unit had its own conceptual approach and market segment.
During the period August 1985 through June 1986, Joe Robertson of Newcastle, conceived and developed 7 new public houses in Newcastle and London.
These exceptional concepts appealed to individual market segments and Berlins Cocktail Bar was preeminent in the new approach to drinking in Newcastle.
Other bars developed at this time included Masters on St Nicholas Street, Macey’s Bar on Groat Market, Brandling Public House in Jesmond, Luckies Bar on St Mary’s Place, Macey’s Bar on Duke Street London, Dukes Bar in London.
